Our U6s had a great weekend when they travelled to play their first away blitz in Corbally and were very well looked after by our fellow Corbally coaches. Each team played two very competitive matches. Well done to all players.
Aisling Annacotty Reds
The Reds squad suffered defeat in their first outing on a 2-1 scoreline. Our goal was scored by Declan Alyward, who finished off a well worked move set up by Killian Frain and Anton Waldron. Eoin Dignam and Daniel Farushev were best for us in a battling performance.
The second match resulted in a battling 1-0 victory, a wonder goal was scored by Robert O’Sullivan after some great lead up play from Bryan Canny and Killian Coffey. Corbally were held at bay in the final franctic minutes with solid defending from David Crehan and Darragh Quinn.

Aisling Annacotty Greens
The Greens team won their opening match on a 3-0 scoreline. Great passing movements and superb finishing helped us to secure a great victory, with goals from Joseph Fitzgerald, Eric Stritch and Stephen Maloney. Solid defending from Aaron Hough and Rory Doyle helped to keep a clean sheet for a deserving victory.
In our second match we were defeated on a flattering scoreline of 4-2. Despite suffering some over robust tackling at times the Greens never gave up and played to the finish and scored some two great goals from Eoghan Burke and Laoise O’ Haodha. Darragh Hough and Killian O’Toole were best for the Greens.
