Aisling Annacotty Reds
The Reds squad were held to a 2-2 draw away to Newport in a close and competitive match, excellent approach play from Brian Quinlan, Ishan Conroy and Fionn Murray helped to set up Peter O’Grady who finished off the move with a fine goal for the first. A second goal was scored early in the second half by Aodhan Frain following a great passing movement between Finn Curtin, Darragh Keogh and Oisin Hayes. Two late goals from Newport helped them to a share of the spoils. Best for Reds were Kieran O’Shea, Ronan Reale, Diramuid Doherty and Luke O’Sullivan

The Greens team won this competitive match on a scoreline of 3-0. Feature of the game was some great passing movements from all players. Individual strikes from Ronan Fox and Evan Power in the first half, helped us to lead 2-0 at the break. Great defending from James Lewington, Luke Callanan and Maurice Leahy helped to keep the Corbally attack at bay.
Mid way through the second half the goal of the game was scored when excellent play by David Leahy and James Coates put Niall Sweeney down the wing and he weaved his way into the box to set up Killian Maloney for a clear shot on goal. Best for Greens were Andy Rowesome, Josh O’Keeffe and Killian Toland.

Aisling Annacotty Reds 4 - Fairview Rangers Reds 3
Trailing 3-1 at the break, our Reds team staged a great comeback to snatch victory in a very sporting and competitive match with Fairview. Jack Canny scored in the first half with a great strike, following clever approach play by Daniel Oyadeji and Brian Quinlan. Some good finishing by Fairview resulted in us conceding three goals in the first half and we went in 3-1 down at the break. Goals by Brian O’Donnell and a brace from striker Conor Coughlan turned the tide in our favour.in the second half. Resolute defending by Oisin Hayes, Ronan Reale and Cillian Toland helped us to keep out the threatening Fairview attack in the last few frantic minutes.

The greens team won a very close match with Summerville on a perfect Annacotty pitch. A great strike by James Coates early in the first half helped to settle the team and this was followed by a great lobbed goal by Niall Sweeney from outside the box with the goalkeeper left stranded. Summerville pulled a deserved goal back before half time. Each side traded goals early in the second half, Aisling Annacotty’s goal being scored by Eoin Murphy following great work by Ishan Conroy and Paul Power. A wonder goal was then scored by Summerville from near the half way line. Late goals from Killian Maloney and Paul Hurley helped to secure a good victory. Great defensive play from James Lewington, Darragh Keogh and Luke Callanan kept out a fine Summerville side in the final minutes.
