CLUB DISCIPLINE GUIDELINES 2012
All Rules can be viewed in the Disciplinary Rules Section
Desciplinary sanctions shall be imposed for the following offences
Standard Offences; (not complying with the following) Minimum fine €40
Proper pitch markings including technical area
Nets in good condition
Corner flags 5ft. min.
Clearly Numbered jerseys (1-16)
3 match footballs (playable)
First aid kit Stretcher
Good kit appearance
Paying referee prior to kick off
Proper filling in of referees card
Punctuality to kick off
Clubs are reminded that they are responsible for the following; Proper playing surface; Safety of match officials and players; Conduct of officials and supporters, the home club/team are liable for any improper conduct among all spectators, the visiting club/team are responsible for any improper conduct among its group of spectators. If it is not possible to identify the perpetrators of an offence action may be taken against the club to which they belong. This also applies to games on neutral grounds; Ensuring that there is no consumption of alcohol in grounds; Payment of referee prior to kick off; Proper access to ground; Pitch enclosed on all four sides; Correct marking of pitch including technical area; Dugouts; Changing facilities with hot and cold running water for home, away and referees; Prompt display of footballs, first aid kit and stretcher to referee on his arrival; Clubs must signpost venues on match days. Failure to comply with above will result in fines and/or other sanctions being issued. Clubs playing away from home in external competitions must send in result to Fixture Secretary.
Clubs failing to attend meetings or other events organised by the LMC will be fined €100
Teams failing to fulfil fixtures; Failing to fulfil fixture – first offence; €300 fine plus travelling expenses awarded to opponents if they were allowed travel (to be calculated same as referees expenses per mile for 3 cars) plus 3 points deducted.
Second offence; Fine increased to €400, travelling as above if applicable, 3 points deducted Club suspended as per rule 20.
Teams receiving 5 or more bookings in any one game shall be subject to sanctions by the Disciplinary Control Unit
Clubs guilty of playing players under false names or unregistered player/s shall receive a fine of €200, lose points if they won or drew and have a further three points deducted.
Official Disciplinary Notification will be by Email Fines;
All fines must be paid by Cheque, Bank Draft or Money Order only to the Disciplinary Regulations Officer on or before the payable date on the Disciplinary Report Form. Fines not paid by specified date will be automatically doubled with payment due 7 days from original date. If payment is not received by this date it will result in automatic suspension until fine is paid in full. Cheques not honoured by the bank will be subject to a €25 surcharge.
